DoneSkills need this. Without it, you won't see the Skills menu and Alex won't work.

DoneGood to know: Skills are a newer ChatGPT feature, so your screen may look slightly different as OpenAI keeps changing it.
Unzip and copy the skill
DoneGemini works differently. It doesn't take skill files, so you'll paste Alex into a Gem. You still only do this once.

DoneYou're all set. Over to you.
Alex is installed and you've got your first plan. Come back to the same chat whenever things change. Alex suggests. You decide.
If something goes wrong
- You can't see the Skills menu in Claude
- Code execution is probably switched off. Check Settings → Capabilities.
- The upload fails
- Use the original zip, not one you've unzipped, renamed or re-zipped. If your browser unzipped it, download it again.
- You can't upload on a work account
- Your organisation owner may have turned uploads off. Ask them to check.
- Alex isn't being used
- In Claude, check the toggle is on, then name the skill in your message. In ChatGPT, type @ and choose Alex.
- Still stuck?
- Email hello@meet-ada-ai.co.uk and we'll help you get it working.
