You know the one. It's been on your list for three weeks. You've thought about it on the school run and at two in the morning, and it's no further on. Usually there's nothing wrong with you or the project. It's one big shape with no obvious first step.
Alex is for people who'd rather clean the oven than sit down and plan. Business owners with a gazillion tabs open and a to-do list that keeps growing. If you colour-code your colour-coding, Alex probably isn't for you. You'll be fine.

How it works
- Tell Alex what you're trying to get done. Type it however it comes out. Messy is fine. Dictating is easier: rant and get it all out in one go.
- Answer a few short questions, one at a time. Alex makes sure the goal is clear before it plans anything.
- Get your plan. Numbered steps, a timeframe for each, the steps that depend on others, and a date to check back.
- I need to get my workshop page live and I keep putting it off. There's so much to do.
- Let's make it smaller. When does the page need to be live?
- End of November.
- Good, that's a real date. What's been stopping you starting?
- I haven't decided the price, so I can't write anything.
- Your plan 1Decide the date and price this week 2Write the page copy by 8 Nov, after 1 3Build the page and booking link by 15 Nov, after 2 Check back with Alex: 9 November
A few things you might not expect
- Sometimes Alex won't build a full plan. If your goal has no real date or consequence, it suggests one next step instead, and tells you when to come back.
- Come back to the same chat when things change, and Alex updates the plan with you.
- If one of your steps is something you'll do again and again, Alex may suggest Olive, a separate skill that helps you spot that task and take a clear next step.
Alex suggests.
You decide.
Where it lives
Alex is a skill you download and add to your own AI account. Your plan stays in your conversation there. We don't see it.
It works in Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini.

Before you go: meet Olive
Alex helps you plan. Olive helps with the steps that keep coming back. Pick one task you do every week, and she sketches how automation could lighten it, then gives you a one-page summary to keep.
It works on its own, or straight after Alex. When your plan has a step that repeats, Olive picks up from there.
- One repeatable task, looked at properly
- A one-page plain-text summary you can keep
Who's behind Alex
We're Jacqueline Leake and Nina Mistry, the two halves of Meet Ada. Jacqueline is an AI specialist and trainer who spends her days inside clients' accounts, seeing what's sitting in their heads that should be written down. Nina builds the tech. She takes what Jacqueline pulls out of people's heads and turns it into tools that bloody work. Simple ones. The kind you'll actually come back to.
